Teresa and Rachael took a vacation from vacation today and stayed at the RV park to catch up on things like sleep, reading, laundy, etc. Their loss, as the humidity was below the tipping point and walking in the heat was easier today. Don and Rodger went back to DC one last time. This was an opportunity to spend extra time at the "guy" museums. We got a bit disoriented coming out of the subway and ended up cutting through the gardens at the Smithsonian Castle.
The Smithsonian Air and Space Museum is just such a place as I mention above. We left no exhibit unexamined.
Next stop, the Smithsonian Museum of American History.
The hat President Lincoln wore to Ford's Theater.
George Washington's sword.
An older model RV, a bit smaller than ours.
Back at the campground, evening activities included puzzles...
...and goopy, sticky, campfire snacks.
